| Re-Generation | | Westcliff Seaboard |
 | | | As will be seen from the high level map, around ¾ of ‘Westcliff Seaboard’
is mostly within the Milton Ward, which is a recognised prime area for
regeneration investment and focus.
Our aim with this programme is to reverse the degeneration of this once valued area, so that it is seen for what it is:
A very unusual and unique area of spacious and attractive housing with the backdrop of the spectacular Thames Estuary beside it.
We want to turn the Westcliff Seaboard and the Hamlet Court Road area in particular, back into a vibrant, successful and distinctive area of Southend on Sea.
We realise that this is not an easy task, and do not underestimate the tremendous efforts, which will be needed to turn ideas into reality. In the past we have worked with the Hamlet Court Road Traders Association (HCRTA) to support their bid for funding in the area and have actively taken part in many meetings and discussions involving that development and road improvements in Station Road. | | | |
